Bathtub refinishing
Restore a dull, stained or chipped tub to a smooth, glossy finish.
Bathtub & shower refinishing
Bathtub refinishing and shower reglazing restore chipped, stained and dated surfaces to a clean, glossy finish, with far less disruption than tearing them out.
Refinish or replace?
When the tub or shower is structurally sound and the problem is the surface, refinishing gives you a fresh finish while keeping your existing tile, plumbing and walls in place.
Not sure which you need? We'll look at it and tell you honestly.
| Compare | Refinishing | Replacement |
|---|---|---|
| Demolition | None | Tub, tile and walls removed |
| Disruption | Minimal | Major construction |
| Cost | A fraction of replacement | Highest |
| Existing tile & plumbing | Stays in place | Often redone |
| Best for | Worn, chipped or stained surfaces | Cracked, failing or unwanted tubs |

How refinishing works
We check the surface for damage and cover the surrounding bathroom.
Soap film, residue and old caulk are removed so the new coating can bond.
Chips and rough spots are filled and sanded smooth.
A durable finish is applied in even coats for a smooth, glossy surface.
We let it cure, recaulk and tell you exactly when it's ready to use.
Keep it looking new
Clean with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and a soft cloth or sponge.
Skip scouring powders, steel wool and harsh chemical drain cleaners.
Use a bath mat without suction cups, and rinse and dry after use.
Fix drips promptly so mineral deposits don't build up on the finish.
